Bill Hills College of Cosmetology is now American Hair Academy.
At American Hair Academy our objective is to enroll students with the desire and the confidence to achieve academic advancement and their personal goals. We strive to prepare our students with the skills necessary for entry level positions in all phases of the cosmetology industry. Whenever possible, we assist in the placement of our students in salons that will offer educational and financial opportunities and resources.
We offer a program that generally prepares individuals to cut, trim, and style scalp, facial, and body hair; apply cosmetic preparations; perform manicures and pedicures; massage the head and extremities; and prepare for practice as licensed cosmetologists in specialized or full-service salons. Includes instruction in hair cutting and styling, manicuring, pedicuring, facial treatments, shampooing, chemical applications, esthetics, shop management, sanitation and safety, customer service, and applicable professional and labor laws and regulations.
The facility of American Hair Academy is equipped to please both students and clients alike. The building covers 10,000 square foot of floor space. Students learn in a modern facility that includes two classrooms, a skin care room, conference room, clinic floor, dispensary, library, computer area, and a comfortable student lounge. We are a smoke free facility.
Beauty professionals are in demand. There are many career opportunities available to well trained, motivated Cosmetology graduates. In the Beauty Industry you can use your creativity, people skills, positive energy and talent and earn a good living.
